What Our Happy Customers Are Saying

Real reviews from meat lovers who keep coming back for more.

As a busy mom, I don't have time to look through all the brands at the grocery super center to see where they come from or what quality is like... I love knowing that with a quick click I am able to see where our meat is coming from and I can feel good about giving it to my kids... who eat every bite!

Kristy T. - MO

My family is extremely picky when it comes to brats. Since getting Diamond H Ranch Dark Cherry, our minds have changed. They're flavorful and juicy. AND we know where the meat comes from!

Chris Smith - MO

Just ate the first steak, it was delicious, and not just because I cooked it, but because of the high quality of the meat.

Four Decades of Experience, One Exceptional Product

When people ask me why they should trust our beef, my answer is simple: It's what we feed our own family. As a mom, I'm constantly thinking about the quality of food that goes into my kids' bodies. That's exactly why we raise our beef the way we do.

Michael and I established Diamond H Ranch in central Missouri in 2019, but our story goes back much further. Michael has been raising cattle for 43 years, starting with his first bottle calf as a child. That lifetime of experience shows in every aspect of our operation.

Every day on our ranch is a family affair. Our kids are right alongside us, learning the value of hard work, responsibility, and caring for the land. From rotating cattle through nutrient-rich pastures to fixing equipment and tending to the animals, we work together as a team committed to raising the most nutritious, flavorful beef possible.

What I love most is knowing exactly what goes into our beef—and what doesn't. No hormones, no routine antibiotics, no shortcuts. Just cattle raised on fresh pastures the way nature intended. When I see our kids growing healthy and strong, enjoying the same beef we're sharing with your family, I know we're doing something right.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is our beef organic?

Although our beef is not technically organic, I can tell you this, 4 years ago we did have our farm certified as organic. (Your farm must be certified organic if you think you might want to certify your beef organic.) When we did that, we up kept the organic certification for 2 years. It’s a lot of red tape and ultimately we dropped it because we were not seeing the benefit of going through the process and fees to maintain the certification.

Are our cattle vaccinated, injected with hormones, antibiotics, or the mRNA vaccine?

We do vaccinate minimally to keep our cattle healthy. We work closely with our veterinarian to only vaccinate for what is necessary in our area. Any animal of ours that gets sick and needs an antibiotic will be treated and pulled OUT of our beef program. Our cattle are never injected with hormones and we do not use the mRNA vaccine. Currently in the US, there is no approval for mRNA with any beef cattle.

Explain the bulk beef process.

We process our beef twice monthly to try to keep things running fluidly. How it works is: we take a deposit upfront, and deposits help us determine how many beef we drop off at a time. Once I receive a deposit, I allocate carcasses according to deposits. When you place your order, I will let you know the soonest available drop off date for processing. 1-2 days after drop off, I call to go over the cut sheet with you. This is your time to go over what cuts you want, how you want them packaged, and anything else you want out of your beef. The butcher will dry age the beef for 21-28 days. This is what enhances the taste AND nutrition of our beef. Please take that time in to account for getting your beef back. Final payment is based on hanging weight of your beef and I will reach out to you with the exact final payment amount, 2 weeks before shipping. That needs to be paid before we ship your beef.

What makes your bacon "nitrate-free"?

While no bacon is truly 100% nitrate-free, our bacon uses natural curing ingredients like celery powder instead of artificial sodium nitrite. This traditional method achieves the same preservation and flavor while avoiding artificial additives.

How is your pork different from store-bought pork?

Our pork comes from heritage breeds raised on pasture, resulting in more marbling, deeper color, and significantly better flavor than conventional pork. Our pigs live natural lives with access to sunshine, fresh air, and a varied diet of forage supplemented with non-GMO feed.

Is your beef truly grass-fed and grass-finished?

Yes, absolutely. Our cattle receive no corn or grains at any point in their lives. The genetics of our herd were specifically selected to finish and marble well on pasture alone. We regeneratively graze our cattle on our pastures and finish them on seasonal high-protein cover crop mixes that Michael has perfected over decades of experience.(That being said, if you prefer corn-finished beef, please reach out. We have neighbors we could potentially work with.)

Do you sell organ meats, beef fat, or tallow?

Yes, we offer these items as add-ons to beef and pork box orders. Due to shipping costs (which we cover), we need to keep these as add-ons rather than standalone products.
