What Our Happy Customers Are Saying

Real reviews from meat lovers who keep coming back for more.

As a busy mom, I don't have time to look through all the brands at the grocery super center to see where they come from or what quality is like... I love knowing that with a quick click I am able to see where our meat is coming from and I can feel good about giving it to my kids... who eat every bite!

Kristy T. - MO

My family is extremely picky when it comes to brats. Since getting Diamond H Ranch Dark Cherry, our minds have changed. They're flavorful and juicy. AND we know where the meat comes from!

Chris Smith - MO

Just ate the first steak, it was delicious, and not just because I cooked it, but because of the high quality of the meat.

Crystal's Skeptical Husband - AZ

Four Decades of Experience, One Exceptional Product

When people ask me why they should trust our beef, my answer is simple: It's what we feed our own family. As a mom, I'm constantly thinking about the quality of food that goes into my kids' bodies. That's exactly why we raise our beef the way we do.

Michael and I established Diamond H Ranch in central Missouri in 2019, but our story goes back much further. Michael has been raising cattle for 43 years, starting with his first bottle calf as a child. That lifetime of experience shows in every aspect of our operation.

Every day on our ranch is a family affair. Our kids are right alongside us, learning the value of hard work, responsibility, and caring for the land. From rotating cattle through nutrient-rich pastures to fixing equipment and tending to the animals, we work together as a team committed to raising the most nutritious, flavorful beef possible.

What I love most is knowing exactly what goes into our beef—and what doesn't. No hormones, no routine antibiotics, no shortcuts. Just cattle raised on fresh pastures the way nature intended. When I see our kids growing healthy and strong, enjoying the same beef we're sharing with your family, I know we're doing something right.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes these steaks "premium cuts"?

These are the most sought-after cuts from our beef, selected for their superior marbling, tenderness, and flavor profile. They represent the highest-value sections of the animal, including the prized ribeye, tenderloin (filet), and porterhouse regions.

What tools do I need to break down these primal cuts?

The essential tools for home butchering include a sharp boning knife (6-8 inch), a butcher knife or chef's knife, kitchen shears, and a cutting board with a groove to catch juices. For better results, consider adding a meat saw for bone-in cuts and a vacuum sealer for storage.

How difficult is it to cut my own meat? I've never done this before.

Meatdad's guides make the process accessible for beginners. While there is a learning curve, most people can successfully break down basic cuts after watching the instructional content. Start with easier cuts like top round before progressing to more complex primal portions. Remember, even imperfectly cut meat will be delicious when cooked properly!

Is your beef truly grass-fed and grass-finished?

Yes, absolutely. Our cattle receive no corn or grains at any point in their lives. The genetics of our herd were specifically selected to finish and marble well on pasture alone. We regeneratively graze our cattle on our pastures and finish them on seasonal high-protein cover crop mixes that Michael has perfected over decades of experience.(That being said, if you prefer corn-finished beef, please reach out. We have neighbors we could potentially work with.)

What's the difference between a Ribeye and a Ribsteak?

While both come from the same prized rib section, a Ribsteak is essentially a bone-in Ribeye. The attached bone enhances flavor during cooking and provides a dramatic presentation. Some customers prefer the bone-in experience, while others enjoy the convenience of the boneless Ribeye.

Do you sell organ meats, beef fat, or tallow?

Yes, we offer these items as add-ons to beef and pork box orders. Due to shipping costs (which we cover), we need to keep these as add-ons rather than standalone products.
