How does shipping work?
We offer free shipping throughout the contiguous 48 states.
On our small box orders, we ship each week on Mondays via UPS. These orders are packed well with insulation and dry ice to ensure a frozen delivery.
For our 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef share orders, we ship weekly with a private frozen shipping company. These orders are temperature controlled at 0 - -10 degrees throughout transit to ensure EVERYTHING arrives frozen solid, to your door.
What is the difference between a half and whole beef share?
A half share provides approximately half of the packaged beef from one animal, while a whole share provides all of it. We can help you compare the expected quantity, freezer space, and household needs.
How much freezer space will I need?
As a general guide, plan for approximately 8–10 cubic feet of freezer space for a half share and 16–20 cubic feet for a whole share. The final amount can vary by animal and cut selections.
Can I choose how my beef is cut?
Yes. You’ll have the opportunity to select your preferred steaks, roasts, ground beef, package sizes, and other cutting preferences. We’re happy to guide you through the choices.
How does the reservation process work?
You’ll reserve your share with a deposit. We’ll then confirm availability, help you complete your cutting preferences, and keep you updated through processing, final payment, and delivery.
When will my beef be ready?
Timing depends on current availability and the processing schedule. Contact us for the latest estimate, and we’ll explain what to expect before you reserve.
